about me
Hi! I’m Rhea Ong Yiu and I’m an alcoholic. No just kidding… NOT! Ok ok… I’ll be serious for a brief second. I do drink once in a while, but my tolerance to alcohol is quite high, so you would more often see me sober than anything else. Oh and I only drink ON occasion so consider yourself safe reading my blog!
I’m a twenty-something corporate slave, working on flex hours, dealing with IT projects – you know the kind of stuff that would keep your fingers glued on the keys all day long. I am almost always online.
I have a peculiar sleeping habit – enough sleep means having slept within increments of 4 hours. I will be in my most normal self if I have slept for 4 hours than having slept 7. Otherwise, I have to buy me an extra hour to make it 8. Call me a weirdo, that’s just me!
I love all things girly – makeup, clothes, fashion, spa and salon visits. I’m obsessed with styling my hair at least once every quarter and boy do I love massages! Pink is my favorite color and love drives my creativity beyond borders. I am most creative if my sugar level is high and I am almost always hyper around people I love to hang out with. I don’t need coffee to keep me up all night, but chocolates and sweets will definitely go a long way!
I don’t look athletic at all but I do play a lot of sports. I started playing tennis at the age of 6 and I still refuse to retire my tennis racket despite it screaming to give up. I rarely get the chance to play so I switched to badminton since I have more people to play with. I also love boxing and martial arts and I have a bag at home that I try to use when I suddenly don’t feel lazy (which is not too often!).
More than anything else though, my passion is in photography. The shutter click gives me an adrenaline rush like coffee does to some people. Sometimes, I feel like having a camera beside me to click whenever I’m reading a book will keep me from sleeping over it. How I got into photography is a long story but do check out my site Photography by Rhea Ong Yiu at http://www.rheaongyiu.com to find out how I got hooked into this hobby.
