5 Things I Learned Today April 3
Its either I had too much to drink last night or my caffeine overdose on coke zero this morning probably kicked a nerve or two. But seems like I hit a home run today with all the things I learned from simply sitting infront of a PC and a MAC all day long.
Lesson #1: You never wait for circumstances to happen to be HAPPY. You just have to BE HAPPY.
Thanks Carla. It was an eye-opener really. I had to swallow fast and hard to actually accept it but you’re right. I have to find happiness not from people around me, but from my own person.
Lesson #2: Never EXPECT.
In any relationship, with friends or even from family. Never expect anything. Do things as if you are on your own. If you’re stuck, get help, but never expect someone to be there for you. Betrayal and frustrations come from failed expectations. So if you don’t want to get hurt, don’t expect.
Lesson #3: HDR
I was helping a friend with is HDR experiment. and I learned from the experience. I realized so many things I didn’t even know I knew. But it just came naturally. I guess all the technical discussions with Ken and Te paid off.
Lesson #4: Learn to say NO sometimes.
If it’s beyond capacity and reason. Say NO. Because if you say yes, when you know in your heart you won’t be able to deliver, you are only setting yourself up for failure.
Lesson #5: Fortune could take you so far, but if you run out of gas in the middle of the dessert, you will still be stuck waiting for a camel to give you a ride home.
haha! This actually made me laugh. I saw this somewhere while browsing some online comic strips tonight. Funny but in a way, it so real. Life’s a bitch sometimes, so we gotta learn to live with it!
